With anxiety about her immediate future, the woman tries to escape from the writer's crisis, but finds herself in a completely different trap. Claire Rivers found herself in a creative crisis, and in order to try to get out of it, she signs up for a writer's retreat, where she can retire to the countryside to reorient herself. Now her company is only an android housekeeper and a holographic assistant. But suddenly she finds herself in a physical and psychological trap.

When due to a technological failure, it turns out to be disconnected from all external contacts. Struggling to write her story, Claire is also troubled by intense dreams of an abusive mother and a young girl unable to leave the family home. Time is running out, as well as food supplies, and the android is becoming more unpredictable. Now she will somehow have to not only overcome the writer's crisis, but also outwit artificial intelligence in order to escape and reunite with the world.
