Storyline Kunwara Baap (1974)

Radha abandons her newborn baby. Mahesh, who works as a rickshaw driver, saves the boy from imminent death. Soon the boy begins to develop polio, the responsible rickshaw feels guilty about what is happening to the foundling. A man takes care of a growing youngster, protecting him from all kinds of troubles.

Meanwhile, the boy's biological parents, reconciled, turn to a familiar detective for help, hoping that he will help them find their son. When Radha and her husband found the offspring, Mahesh does not want to give it away. The detective convinces him to return the ailing schoolboy, since wealthy dad and mom are able to pay for the operation, thanks to which the boy will be able to walk again. The saddened protagonist agrees to let go of his pupil, who has become his dearest person on Earth. One day the boy learns the sad news: his adoptive father died under rather mysterious circumstances.
