Storyline Dauntless: The Battle of Midway (2019)

At the beginning of June 1942, the Imperial Japanese Army continued offensive operations in the Pacific region. In order to stop the rapid advance of the enemy forward, as well as radically change the course of the confrontation, the Navy of the United States of America had to urgently prepare an operation, thanks to which it is planned to launch a counterattack in the area of the atoll called Midway.

An experienced pilot of a dive bomber of the US Air Force, Norman Vandivier, together with a masterfully trained gunner named Lee Keaney, take part in a deadly mission. During the next combat flight, the plane of the main characters was shot down by the enemy over the ocean. The Americans managed to leave the aircraft, thereby saving their lives. Men are well aware that it is too early to rejoice, because they are away from their fellow soldiers. Meanwhile, a large-scale naval battle is gradually breaking out...
