Anuradha Segal makes an important decision and decides to leave the parental nest in Mumbai to start a new life. She manages to find a high-paying job, meet her love Vivek Chauhan. This is not a simple guy from the province, but a novice chief minister of the country. Their relationship is developing rapidly and quickly the couple decides to register a marriage. But when she met him, she did not see the features of alcoholism and a debauched lifestyle in his personality.

He is openly cheating on his wife, but continues to live with her. The peak of the resolution of the relationship becomes physical violence and criminal activity of the husband, for which he is imprisoned. The heroine's parents convince her to run for election to take the place of the head of state in the footsteps of her husband.
