The film begins with the fact that a red unknown object falls from the sky to the ground, and a deer in the forest is grabbed by a terrible monster that does not look like any animal. Ruth and Harry, an unmarried couple together for more than sixteen years, decide to go on a trip to the forest, to the so-called camping. Having reached the desired place, Harry makes a marriage proposal, which, prone to anxiety, Ruth rejects.

Walking through the area, they come across a dead deer covered with a black substance, which is the result of the disease. Later he enters the cave and finds a blue puddle. After leaving the cave, she tells her future spouse that she has changed her mind and wants him to ask her to marry again. They reach a picturesque omission, the girl pushes him to an obvious death. Wandering through the territory, the heroine finds another couple, but suddenly the surviving groom appears and kills them. As it turns out, this is not a person, but an alien who has taken the form of a lover.
