Storyline Beirut (2018)

The story begins with the moment when the US diplomat in Lebanon, Mason Skiles and his wife decide to take custody of a thirteen-year-old boy named Karim. The teenager claimed that his parents had died and he was completely alone in this white world. During the reception, a CIA officer tries to interrogate the boy, as he caused a lot of doubts in the agency, but does not have time to do this because of the attack. During the party, an armed gang breaks in, led by Rafid, Karim's brother, who committed a brutal terrorist attack in Munich. He kidnaps a guy and kills Mason's wife.

Almost ten years pass, Mason drinks godlessly, having turned into an alcoholic. He works as an arbitrator trying to settle labor disputes, so he meets Sally, who turned to him for help. He needs to fly to Lebanon, for this she buys him a ticket and gives him money so that he arrives on time for an academic lecture. In fact, the main character will have to join a terrorist organization led by Karim, who is trying to get his brother out of prison by any means. Mason is supposed to be the link in this case, but memories begin to pull at an old wound.
