Over the past few years, citizens living in Nottingham have suffered from the local sheriff, a tyrant who fancied himself the arbiter of human destinies. Once a tyrant ordered the murder of Robin Hood's father, after which the guy swore revenge on his blood enemy. Also, the main character wants to free all the prisoners who have become victims of the despot's activities. Having listened to the advice of a wise recluse named Merlin, the young man gathers a detachment, which includes real rogue loners, as well as soldiers who did not want to obey the orders of the army leadership. Gang members with certain military skills have long dreamed of getting even with those in power. Ordinary people who are tired of being bullied unite around the brave souls who have started fighting for justice. During the confrontation with the sheriff's army, the people's avenger is captured.
