Brian gathers a team of Toretto racers to help him avoid jail time. Old friends risk their own lives, but without Dominic, the family would not be complete. After his happy release, Toretto, along with his sister and her lover, moves to Brazil. Rio de Janeiro becomes their temporary refuge. Friends promise to finish with past affairs and start a new quiet life, but their plans are not destined to come true.

Toretto and O'Connor get involved in a dangerous case, promising that it will be the last. They are being hunted by one of the best federal agents – Luke Hobbs. He is determined to put both drivers behind bars, but the situation is getting much more complicated. Unknown assailants attack federal agents during the operation, and Dominic and Brian rescue Hobbs. To achieve a common goal, they will have to work together.
