Storyline Eddie the Eagle (2015)

In the center of the picture is a ten-year-old boy Michael Edwards. It's 1973. Michael has a dream. He wants to participate in the Olympic Games. Trying himself in various types of Olympic Games, Edwards is defeated. Michael's mother continues to support him, and his father does not believe in his son's success. However, Eddie continues to train. As a teenager, Michael decides to change his dream to participate in the Winter Olympics. Eddie makes a choice in the direction of skiing. Achieving no small success in sports, the British Olympic Games Association refuses Eddie to participate in the Olympics.

Despite this, Eddie goes to the base in Germany to train in ski jumping. However, everyone humiliates and laughs at the guy. Eddie trains and successfully jumps from a fifteen-meter springboard. But his luck is pumped on a forty-meter springboard. Then Eddie decides to take Bronson Pirie as his coach, who turns out to be a famous ski jumper who had to end his career because of a showdown with his coach. Bronson tries to talk Eddie out of this idea. But Michael is not going to give up. He is ready to go to the end.
