The main character is the young guy by the name of Morti. Living in full-fledged family, and trying not to face difficulties that further parents for it did not redden, he studied at school, earned marks. But suddenly found out that the old man Rick settles in his house. This person is famous for the madness as it is constantly got involved in trouble. Independently it was not going to do it as asked to join its adventures of the grandson. The kid did not even think earlier to refuse to the grandfather. It seemed to it that these adventures quite interesting, but as soon as began to mature, realized that the danger traps him continually when it is nearby with the relative.

Rick, inventing the travel, creates a plate from various stuff, and does not know where further it will appear. For it it is the real excursion on other worlds and interplanetary space. Martie very much worries to be late for another occupation as understands that relatives will be against these adventures. They already repeatedly asked the grandfather not to interfere with education of the grandson. But the old man listens to nobody. He feels an improbable stream of the good luck. Also it is sure that nothing bad happens.
