In the center of events there is Kuttan who was earlier serving in police in the officer's rank. The man differed not only in professionalism, but also terrible character with which it is not enough who agreed to be reconciled. But also life of this person was quite heavy why he could not have temper, pleasant for surrounding people. He became a widow/widower and independently raised the son Kichu. The fellow was still minor, and therefore he happened to tolerate fatherly features of character, and at times Kuttan proved as despot. Kuttan believed that he had the right entirely to mistreat the son as for the sake of his benefit did not begin to marry after the death of the wife. Kich had to suffer the cruel methods of education which were stopping the slightest liberties and not allowing the child to derive pleasure from life. Besides Kich had to watch daily video with the mother.

Kuttan had younger sister who for a long time left the house and who became the spouse of the playwright Kuttappan, and that came from the lowest caste. Spouses decided to move to a housing estate where there was Kuttan's apartment. The relations between relatives become even more intense. Kuttan experiences deterioration in a mental state, and he begins to be suspicious of people that it is surrounded. He was born at people of the highest caste, and gave in to the prejudices connected with origin and the social status. But at the same time he was almost powerless before natives of the lowest castes, and those were able to create provocative situations. Kuttan gradually loses over by itself control, and the situation in which it appeared can turn in quite unpleasant, and can be even dangerous and not only for it.
