Storyline 8 Mile (2002)

The movie "8 mile" became for the rapper Marshall Bruce of Meters III who the whole world is known under a scenic pseudonym by Eminem, the first actor's work in big cinema. He played a role of one of the numerous Detroit rappers trying to escape from poverty of the half-ruined dying city to star tops. Contrary to ordinary opinion, the movie is not a biopic: the plot reflects only some moments of life of Eminem in youth through which, according to the actor, there passed each beginning musician of his city.

Jimmy "Krolik" Smith Jr. (Eminem) is the white guy who lives on the suburb of Detroit and works at the local plant, recently left the pregnant girl Janine, having been frightened of "unnecessary" responsibility. The young man dreams to become a rapper and tries to participate in rap buttles among the Afro-Americans. Life takes its course until once "Rabbit" got acquainted with the girl who came on the plant to find the brother. Jimmy it attracted at once, and young people begin to meet. Soon the girl changes it with the friend. "Rabbit", having caught a couple in the act, cruelly beats the already former friend. Later, to revenge for "buddy", the gang beats Jimmy. But without having begun to suffer it, he throws down them a challenge in a rap buttle, and eventually wins a long-awaited victory then he receives the offer to conduct a show on an equal basis with the friend, but is proud leaves, having told that to it other way is prepared.
