Storyline The Evil Dead (1981)

If in the house there is a frightening dark cellar, then heroes will surely go there, and, having found an audiofilm there, will surely listen. So also Ash Williams, his girl Linda, the sister Cheryl and their friends Scott and Shelley arrive. On arrival to a lonely lodge each of them notices something unusual, but nobody decides to attach it any significance. When during a dinner loud noise from the cellar sounds, having assumed that there some animal got, Scott and Ash decide to check. Under the house they find the room full of strange objects: here and a gun with cartridges, and a notebook with frightening drawings, and not less mystical figurines. But the most unusual among them is a book, a dagger and the audio cassette.

Having listened to the film which is written down by the former owner of the hut, heroes learn that the book was found by the scientist in ancient ruins of Kandar, has a cover from human skin, is written by human blood and Naturan Demanto is called that in approximate translation sounds as the Book by the Dead. In principle it would be enough to finish rest and urgently to be evacuated to the city, but children listen further. And further on a film the speech in unknown language sounds and though Cheryl in panic shouts to stop record, the defying Scott waits for the end of record or so far in a window the huge branch of a tree does not fly. Heroes do not know yet that the spell woke something demonic and now some invisible, but very terrible otherworldly forces will join their rest.
