Seven years passed from the date of Richard Croft's disappearance. Once it left the little daughter Lara and went to the desert island to find the proof of existence of an afterlife. The death of mother Lara became fatal incident after which Richard lost an opportunity to eat, sleep and be engaged in affairs. He understood that if does not find the proof of a possible meeting with the wife in other world, then will not be able to find a way out of a depression.

Its purpose was to find burial of the mysterious Japanese empress Himiko who if to trust legends, had improbable devil force. To avoid accident, her own generals chained Himiko in a chain and sent on the desert island. Richard believed that it still there, so it is necessary to be convinced that Himiko's strength will never fall into evil hands. Richard's disappearance became surprise for Lara, then she also did not know about secret life of the father. But even without knowing about this history, Lara refused to recognize death of the only relative. 

The girl was for many years forced to be interrupted by casual earnings instead of living in the family estate and to receive payments from inheritance. Lara trusted - so far she did not sign paper. the father is alive, so, he will come back home. Once Lara's trustee, Anna Miller, deception convinced the girl to sign papers, but, thereby, did much harm to herself. Lara ahead of schedule got access to an office of the father and found a confidential video and materials in the matter of Himiko there. Now it will stop before what will find Richard.
