Storyline Maqbool (2003)

The movie is based on the play "Macbeth" by William Shakespeare. Action of the movie is developed in Mumbai. In the center of the narration of this criminal drama there is a man by the name of Makbul who is the right hand Jahangir Khan - the powerful criminal boss. Makbul feels close connection with destiny beyond the law and expresses personal gratitude to Dzhi's ABBA for the fact that the last sheltered him in the group. Seeing their close relations, but also feeling ambitions of the beginning bandit, two corrupted police officers foretell that the guy will take reins of government underworld of Mumbai soon. Meanwhile the woman by the name of Nimmi who is the mistress of the current criminal leader hides the romantic relations with Makbul whom she secretly meets.

The girl encourages Makbul's ambitions and convinces that to kill her lover to take his place. The hero is broken off between love to the girl and loyalty in relation to ABBA. Soon he begins to prepare the soil to become the new criminal boss, at the same time guaranteeing himself that others will not be able to interfere with lines of continuity. At last the hero coolly kills ABBA when that lies in a bed at night together with Nimmi.
