Storyline The Wasteland (2021)

The movie tells about little Diego's life in the 19th century. He lives together with parents on the remote farm in Spain, and around a full heathland. To family it was necessary to run the awful world therefore they try to preserve the son from an exit for line of the field, it for it the strict ban. At the same time the father tells the son that there is invisible a foreign being, it eats fear. When it is selected closer and closer, just kills the victim. While the father of family leaves on affairs, Diego's mother begins to be afraid of something invisible and hidden. Thus, the boy begins to understand that to them this being who is ready to absorb any who feels the slightest fear came.

The animal who was seen by family actually was an embodiment of fear and concern which the person had. Diego never saw it at the beginning because did not give in to alarm while Lyuchiya saw because El Salvador did not return in time. But gradually Diego began to feel presence of a supernatural being too only because believed in the mother. It was at that age when it it was possible to force to believe in something. And it was not a stranger; he was influenced by his own mother. Thus, its actions finally cause this concern to it.
