Storyline Final Destination (2000)

The senior Alex with the schoolmates gets into the plane to go to France. Suddenly he is visited by mystical vision in which he sees how the airplane explodes right after take-off. He begins to panic, shout and in every possible way to try to remove friends from ill-fated flight. In several moments in the airport hall school students see how their plane explodes directly on their eyes. Now FBI considers that Alex is related to incident, and watches each its step. His friends too so think and gradually begin to disappear from his life. However they vanish for absolutely other reason. Each of them perishes enigmatically as Reaper Man follows in their tracks. Having been included in the list of death, they will not be able it neither to outwit, nor to avoid. And only Alex, having studied all regularities of the events, can find a way to prevent inevitable. But whether Death which the ordinary school student tries to bypass is so silly?

"Final Destination" - by right can consider the first horror film where something, bearing death, has no physical embodiment. Not to see it, not to feel, only to reconcile. And it made a picture unique in own way, and involved such mad interest from outside of the audience. Critics also noted innovation in, apparently, habitual plot of fight of the person against death. Authors of a picture shared that despite so unusual antagonist, the idea of creation of the scenario came from news release about plane crash. In July, 1996 the Boeing-747 plane of the Trans World Airlines company which was carrying out flight from New York to Paris in a few minutes after take-off exploded and failed to the Atlantic Ocean. None of 230 people onboard survived.
