Storyline Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid (2004)

Scientists from all over the globe dream of finding a mysterious Black Orchid that blooms for a couple of short weeks once every seven years. It is able to prolong life, so that all pharmaceutical companies, without exception, are hunting for a flower to include its valuable ingredient in their preparations. However, it is extremely difficult to find an Orchid. It grows only in the impenetrable jungles of Borneo. An ambitious doctor Jack Byron lives in New York, who is trying to get the management to finance an expedition to Borneo. He gets permission from the director of the company and gathers a team that will not be afraid to go straight to the heart of the jungle.

However, upon arriving on the island, Dr. Byron's squad realizes that they were terribly unlucky with the weather. It's the rainy season in Borneo, and only a madman would agree to go into the jungle full of dangers and scary hungry creatures in such weather. But the team manages to find such a daredevil. It turns out to be Captain Bill Johnson, who is ready to lead a detachment into the jungle for 50 thousand dollars. But to get into the jungle does not mean to succeed in finding a flower. Suddenly, the squad realizes that anacondas nest near the place where the Orchid blooms. They are much larger and more dangerous than their relatives, because they feed on the Black Orchid. Now Byron's team must engage in a deadly battle with snakes to get out of the jungle.
