Several years have passed since the Lambert family coped with a serious problem that prevented them from leading a normal existence. Native people moved to live in the house of the mother of the head of Josh's family, Lorraine. The relatives who survived the nightmare are sure that the sad events are in the past and will never happen again. Until a certain time, the relatives enjoyed a quiet life, abstracted from the horror.

A couple of months after moving in, Renee begins to notice frightening things that clearly indicate the presence of a paranormal entity in the dwelling that does not want to leave unhappy people alone. One day, little Dalton told his mother that incomprehensible metamorphoses were taking place with his father. According to his son, Dad is behaving very strangely. The boy's grandmother wants to find out what's going on around. Lorraine wants to finally reveal the secret of the family curse in order to break the invisible thread connecting them to the spirit world forever.
