After long years of service for the benefit of society, Bkhonsle leaves police department of Mumbai. He tries to adapt to civil life in the small apartment located in the multi-storey building. Periodically the man meets the former chief who persuades him to return... The homeless the taxi driver by the name of Vilas is an ardent fighter for local cultural originality. He accuses migrants from the North Indian region that they take away their jobs from local toilers. 

The guy often enters the conflicts with Rajendra, the head of the people who arrived on earnings. Vilas successfully creates networks and unites influential inhabitants to ego-trip. Bkhonsle who is held in respect in society does not wish will join Vilas... A sieve, together with the brother of teenage age Lala, move to the dwelling, in the neighbourhood with the main character. Practically right after moving, the teenager becomes the participant of impartial history for which he can be punished. The only hope for rescue for naive relatives is the retired observer of the law. The neighbor helps the fellow to avoid deserved punishment...
