When we last time saw our favourite captain Jack Sparrow, he disappeared in a vice of a monster of the Kraken, and now his soul is locked in Davy Jones's hiding place. Personal hell of this pirate psychodelically frightening, but all his visions are connected with the favourite ship and loyal friends Will Turner and Elisabeth Swann. And it is valid, Will and Elisabeth want to save Jack and to return him to the world of live. However they did not expect to encounter such quantity of obstacles which were built by haughty lord Katler Beckett that keeps now the power over the sea. One of Beckett's purposes - to destroy all pirates and to eradicate piracy. It, of course, means that Will and Elisabeth have to not only return Jack to life, but also unite to interfere with Beckett's plans. Also there is one more hitch: the tentacle captain Davy Jones united with Beckett and again floats by the ship ghost "Flying Dutchman", tracking down Jack Sparrow.

Understanding to have though some chance to win, Will and Elisabeth will need to call Nine lords of the Brotherly yard which was founded at the beginning of piracy. And therefore they call a truce with earlier sworn enemy - the captain Barbossa restored to life by the priestess of the voodoo of Tia Dalm who claims that it can also help to recover Jack as soon as he is found. Still it is necessary to save Prikhlop Bill who is damned and is in Jones's vice somewhere onboard "Flying Dutchman", and, eventually, Will and Elisabeth still want to get married. Sometime.
