The daughter of the governor and the improbable beauty Elisabeth Swann probably should marry in marriage not for love. Her hand James Norrington, the young perspective officer whereas it with hope looks at the childhood friend Will Turner, the talented armorer asked. However the modest smith, considers himself unworthy the girl and is afraid to make an avowal of sentiments. Eight years ago Will was saved among splinters of the ship destroyed by pirates. But before he recovered consciousness, Elisabeth removed a gold piracy medallion that the boy was not executed as the criminal's son from his neck.

And here the scene with the marriage proposal of Norrington unexpectedly breaks - Elisabeth falls from a fortification directly in the sea, and nobody else saves the girl as the most wanted criminal of all known seas - the captain Jack Sparrow. This slightly unbalanced, but incredibly charismatic and charming pirate just planned to hijack some ship from Port-Royala. His darling and the most high-speed schooner "A black pearl" was captured by the rebelled team under artful Barboss's leader. Rescue of the daughter of the governor does not give pardon to Sparrow - it is all the same placed in a cage.

But the same night of Barboss and his team attack Port-Royal. But not riches are necessary to them, and a magic medallion which was activated when Elisabeth fell in water. The girl appears by the piracy ship and gives a medallion, but it is represented the daughter of the servant, having called herself Elisabeth Turner. Having heard its surname, Barbossa I am glad doubly - it just needs the descendant of the pirate Turner who bewitched all his command for eternal wandering between life and death. And meanwhile the real Turner who fainted during the revolt pines with inaction of army and is ready to jerk for search. But only who knows how to find "A black pearl" - that Jack Sparrow. The correct Will is ready to arrive with the moral principles and releases the pirate that that helped him.
